NEWS RELEASE
BUSINESS LINK HELPS LOCAL COMPANIES UNDERGO
TRANSFORMATION
More firms are to be given the chance to make a business breakthrough, thanks to the re-launch of Business Link Lincolnshire & Rutland's highly successful Accelerated Business Development Programme.
Chief executives and managing directors are being urged to come forward and revitalise their businesses, by taking an objective look at where they are now, where they would like to be and how to get there.
Led by Shai Vyakarnam, visiting Professor of Enterprise at Nottingham Business School and supported by other business experts such as Simon Pratten, managing director of Transitions Consultancy, the course offers the opportunity to tap into specialist knowledge and expertise and use it to improve business performance.
The course covers topics including strategy, action plans, e-business and finance and programme co-ordinator Frances Mackereth says one of the main benefits is the increased confidence that comes from being in control and moving forward with a strong future vision.
Since 1996, seven Accelerated Business Development Programmes have been run, with a total of 70 businesses across the Lincolnshire and Rutland region benefiting from this prestigious business support programme.
Simon Shaw, director of Lincoln-based Optima Graphic Design Consultants, has previously taken part in the programme. He said, "The programme gave us time, opportunity and tools to assess and fine tune the business. We found the sessions fast and focussed and quickly pinpointed our strengths and potential. The whole experience gave the business clearer goals and generated a huge amount of confidence in ourselves."
Business Link Lincolnshire & Rutland are hosting two Awareness Sessions for potential applicants to find out more about the programme, plus have the opportunity to meet the business experts delivering the course, as well as past delegates.
The first session will take place at the Grantham Marriott Hotel on 28 January 2003 and the second will be held at Branston Hall on 31 January 2003.
Anyone wishing to attend one of the Awareness Sessions, or wanting further information about the Accelerated Business Development Programme, please contact Frances Mackereth on 01522 574077 or visit www.matrixbusinesslink.co.uk
