PRESS RELEASE
ALTERNATIVE BUSINESS GURU TO SPEAK AT BREAKFAST BRIEFING
Business people are being promised an unconventional introduction to the world of sales and customer care in the first of a new series of Boardroom Briefings by Business Link for Leicestershire.
The breakfast seminar will feature alternative business guru Geoff Burch, author of best selling titles "Resistance is Useless - the Art of Business Persuasion" and "Go It Alone - the streetwise secrets of self employment".
Renowned for his wacky image, Harley Davidson-riding Geoff has previously worked with BT, Lloyds, Phillips, Barclays, IBM and many more to present, train and motivate at all levels. He is a regular speaker at large events in London and the South East.
Event manager Suzanne Page says that despite the unusual style he has a powerful message to relay. "Geoff has a refreshing outlook on customer care and sales that has gained him a reputation as an extraordinary speaker. We are very pleased to be able to welcome someone of his standard into Leicester. By focusing on the thinking required to make our customers love us, I promise everyone will leave filled with new ideas."
The Boardroom Briefing series is designed to offer management development in bite-sized chunks for senior managers, directors and key decision makers.
It is part of an initiative by the new look Business Link to offer a wide spectrum of business services and make starting up and being in business as stimulating and exciting as possible. It also comes after the Leicestershire Business Survey showed more than 50 per cent of respondents were interested in improving customer care and retention.
The breakfast briefing will be held at the Holiday Inn on 27 November. Further information is available from Suzanne Page on 0845 070 0086
