“hopwood were a pleasure to work with – and quickly became an extension of our team. Not only were they entirely trustworthy and capable, they were there when we needed them and shared our passion for the work we did and how we could communicate it to others.”
Nick Carter, Chairman, Prospect Leicestershire

Business people queued round the block for our client’s event on the future of Leicester. “The best conference that I've been to for many a year” was how one delegate described it.

We marketed the event for our clients, the economic development company Prospect Leicestershire, and were key players on the organising team.

Our work for Prospect Leicestershire was focused on attracting inward investment from the private and public sector, stimulating urban regeneration and bringing businesses and universities together.

Key audiences included Government, businesses and developers as well as a diverse group of stakeholders.

Our media relations work saw Leicester consistently punching above its weight in national property and investment media. It included generating major press opportunities, responding to media enquiries and creating press material.

We also managed Prospect Leicestershire’s monthly e newsletter, using our bespoke e news system.

Much of the project involved collaboration with partners including Three Universities for Business and the public-private consortium behind Vision 2020.

hopwood became the PR consultancy service provider for Prospect Leicestershire on its formation in 2009. We managed PR through the transition from a former URC, Leicester Regeneration Company, to the new economic development company. Previously, we handled PR for a dedicated inward investment agency Leicestershire Development Agency.
