FREE SUPPORT FOR GAINSBOROUGH ENTREPRENEURS
Aspiring entrepreneurs in Gainsborough are to be given extra support by Business Link Lincolnshire & Rutland.
The organisation, which specialises in offering a wide range of business advice to small and medium sized enterprises, is hosting a free Business Start Up Information Session on July 17, designed to introduce the key issues involved in starting in business.
Supported by Barclays Bank Plc, the seminar will be delivered by experienced Business Advisors, who have access to up-to-date information and advice. The event is aimed at those thinking of venturing into business for the first time and will cover most aspects of business planning as well as many of the frequently asked questions.
Topics include market research and advertising, financial planning, avoiding failure, competition and business support.
Coral Willcox, business enterprise officer at Business Link Lincolnshire & Rutland, said, "Starting a business is a big step, which is why the start up sessions are so useful. By covering all angles and dealing with concerns face-to-face, we give people the support to move their ideas forward at the pace that is right for them."
Bob Oakes, who has recently set up a blacksmith school at his forge in Cold Hanworth, says that when starting a business you can never have enough advice. "Business Link advisers are highly trained and have a wealth of information to pass on," he said. "Many are business people themselves and their experiences are invaluable."
