NEWS RELEASE
BUSINESS WOMEN BUILD BUSINESS NETWORKS
The benefits of effective networking will be under the spotlight at the next meeting of Business Women's Link for Leicestershire being held on October 29.
Featuring Judith Gilmore, a training professional with more than 25 years experience as a broadcaster, trainer and lecturer, the event will concentrate on how to network effectively in order to develop personal and professional relationships and generate new business.
A founder member of the Professional Speakers Association, Judith has worked with many blue-chip companies including Selfridges & Co, Speedo and Elizabeth Arden.
Rajinder Bhuhi, Business Women's Link co-ordinator, said, "Networking can be a daunting prospect for women, as many business events are very male dominated. However, effective networking is an essential business tool and I'm sure that with a bit of motivation and some useful tips, Judith will give everyone the confidence to go away and make lots of new contacts."
Business Women's Link was formed by Business Link for Leicestershire after research showed overwhelming support for a local network to encourage and support women in business. Regular meetings bring together likeminded businesswomen from across the county to discuss current events and business issues.
The event will be held at The Leicester Stage Hotel, Wigston on Tuesday October 29. To book a place please contact Nikki Coles, event manager at Business Link for Leicestershire on 0116 2575624 or go online at www.leicestershire.businesslink.co.uk
